Penshurst Platform Gallery

An exhibition of paintings by local artists has transformed a once dreary shelter into the Penshurst Platform Gallery. A partnership between Jessops Farm Studios artists and Southern Railway has created an artwork installation at Penshurst station, on the Redhill-Tonbridge branch line in Kent.

My response to this project was two abstract landscape paintings. My paintings evoke the richness and texture of the land, while shapes impose the structures of our activities: expressing a harmony and tension between these two forces in our ancient, agricultural landscape.
